Rose Tattoo are a highly influential hard rock group formed in Sydney Australia 1976,around vocalist Angry Anderson. Sadly a lot of former members of the band are deceased including slide guitarist Peter Wells. Mick Cocks..guitar and Ian Rilen ..bass. Rose Tattoo have made some great albums ...play the tracks and play them loud!! The band have reformed with new line ups for various live performances over recent years

I'm one of the biggest fans around - but I haven't met too many other fans online or in real life, sadly. But every time I play the Tats for other people they can't quite believe what they hear

I've got all the albums on vinyl and they've always been in regular rotation!

The first three are the ones you wanna look for, the ones ef mentioned. The best album is a bit hard to define... but start with the debut 'Rock'n'roll Outlaw'(not just Rose Tattoo ) - that's a safe bet regardless.

Flipflop and Electric Funeral are bang on the first 3 albums are highly recommended . They were produced by Vanda and Young who also worked with AC/DC. Heres ROSE TATTOO in fine "live" action....

Angry Anderson and Slash got together in Melbourne a few days ago at the launch of an MTV something or another. Rose Tattoo were one of the best!
