i really like Rory, he's a great, emotional player and musician. im mostly a fan of his live stuff, that's when he really came together and the recordings were able to catch him at his best. his studio recordings just seem hollow compared to his live material, imo

No special effects, no dazzling lights and lasers just gritty hard edged blues rock, I concider myself very lucky to have seen this gentleman. I watched in awe as he steamed through each set and on both occasions I didnt leave the club till 2am. I still can't believe how very humble he comes across in the old interviews he was and is an inspiration. Long live the memory of Rory.

In some ways with his fast, raw rock I think Rory has a few punk rock elements to his work.

:grinthumb I think this is from the Irish tour 74` dvd, a great addition to anyones music library I highly recommend it.
