:omg: The songs are just amazing, every single one of these is a hit.

This album of his best songs does his memory justice, RIP Robert Palmer, taken too soon.

Re: Robert Palmer - The Very Best of Robert Palmer

I have to be honest with you Lord Dweedle....posting the track listing and saying little more than that you like Robert Palmer isn't much of a review. I mean, you don't give any description of what the songs are like, why you like them, what it is you think that made "every single one of these a hit", or anything with any substantial detail really. The deepest you got into describing them was "just amazing" which is just about as vague as you can get short of saying "his songs go in your ear" and just posting videos of the songs for people to listen to is like giving people homework that they have to do rather than you actually putting the work into telling people what they are like, which is what a review is.

Sorry if that sound a tad harsh but it's constructive criticism.

Really you can just treat a greatest hits album like any other album when you review it.

Correct...some people like the way some are put together and some hate the way some greatest hits are thrown together.

Some feel important songs are left out of the mix. :grinthumb

I enjoyed this Best of album. I've been a fan of Robert Palmer since I heard The Power Station doing the T Rex classic Bang A Gong Get it On
