RIP Mike Starr

For anyone that is an Alice in Chains fan, I'm saddened to inform all of you that Mike Starr, the original bassist for the band, has died.

While I do not condone drug use, it is still sad and tragic to hear this. Well at least Layne Staley will have company to form his rock and roll band on the other side.

RIP Mike, you will be sorely missed.

^^^ I know! Alice In Chains was a big part of my teenage years. Losing Layne Staley was hard enough for me but this just adds another nail to the coffin of my childhood.

I just saw Mike Starr on celeb rehab about a month ago. he came back and was telling the people on the show how much better his life was now that he was sober. how sad

I know he was dealing with drug addiction for a long time. I met the band at a club here in town just after Facelift was released. Great show. BS with Layne Staley for a couple of minutes.

Hopefully Mike Starr now finds peace.
