Definitely one of the top singers from the 80s. He continues to write and play regularly. I admire that he is a diehard songwriter. He has written some amazing songs even after his 'peak' years.

A girlfriend from around 1999-2000 was a huge fan (I'm a fan too, I own the Best Of CD). I took her to a Rick Springfield concert at Navy Pier.

Loudest f-ing concert I ever went to. IDK if it was the venue or Rick really cranks it up on stage. Still, a good show.

I just saw Rick Springfield in Dec ,The venue was intimate and perfect for this show! Rick was warm, told of his life, his family, his 33 year marriage with his wife! I have a new found love for the ARTIST!! He bonded with the audience and we all felt his passion and love!! WE NEED MORE OF THESE "GET TO KNOW THE ARTIST" experiences!!
