Out of town to Monday .....just noticed the thread ,but cant say I was ever a big fan of the band.
I always thought they were 'prog lite' then went full on commercial which I understand since one has to pay the bills. They had some decent pop rock in their day. I own the first 6 and like Quietest Moments the best though prog fans like Crime the best.

IMHO: 1974's 'Crime Of The Century' has always compared favorably with other iconic Prog Albums -
like 'Selling England By The Pound', 'Close To The Edge', 'Dark Side Of The Moon' & 'I Robot'. RIP Rick...
