Richard Marx's music is the kind of stuff you wish someone would write for you.

Yeah, Richard Marx was a terrific vocalist and an incredible songwriter; I aspired to write lyrics just like him when I started writing music 15 years ago. It's that rare beauty you rarely find in today's top-40 rock, which tends to be more whiny than affectionate.

Used to have his first few albums, great stuff at the time but my tastes starting to change and I haven`t kept up to date with his other albums.
