So, thought I would throw these two albums up in the air, they both stray away from the funky roots of the band and a new sound emerged from the quad that stuck until John Frusciante's last departure. I, personally, have always had a ridiculously hard time choosing between the two. So I want to hear some fellow RHCP fans input on this. Which would you choose, and why? And for those of you who don't listen to RHCP, and haven't heard these albums....well, shame on you...:nw:

"By The Way" for me. It has some of the best lyrics of The Chili Peppers' career and is home to my favorite song by them "Don't Forget Me". "Stadium Arcadium" is good but I feel like there is only enough solid material for one great album. Another quarter is just alright and the last quarter is quite forgettable.

By The Way! Loved the harmonies and prefer this side of RHCP! :grinthumb The funky stuff is good too but not through a whole album. I liked Stadium Arcadium but like Cosmic said in a sense it was too bloated! :)
