@CH: Hmm. It's crazy, but kind of a novelty romp, like a proggy mashup of 80 years of particularly American music. (Of which I'm assuming is how it got the name "California") Unfortunately, prog standards are pretty everyday to me, I was after something like the more chaotic parts of WEG, or one of my latest acquisitions, I.E.M. That Bungle song wasn't for me but it's intrigued me enough to listen further at least!

IMHO, Freddie, Montserrat and the girls are quite well done their work.

I love the "Barcelona" album and "The Golden Boy" is probably the most gospel flavored song on the album because of the backing vocals yet that's more so an opera song than what I was looking for.
