REBELLION
rebellion.jpg

Formed: 2001, Germany

Members Past and Present:
Michael Seifert (vocals), Uwe Lulis (guitar), Tomi Göttlich (bass), Randy Black (drums, 2001-03), Björn Eilen (guitar, 2001-05), Gerd Lücking (drums, 2003-present), Simone Wenzel (guitar, 2005-present)

Uwe Lulis (guitar) and Tomi Göttlich (bass) formed this band after having a fall out with members of their former band, Grave Digger in 2000. I was at first distressed by the news as word spread of an impending break up. But instead of the end of Grave Digger the metal scene was blessed with the birth of another awesome Teutonic metal band that goes by the moniker of Rebellion .TBH , I like them even better then Grave Digger of whom I have always been a fan.

Discography:

2002 Shakespeare's MacBeth - A Tragedy in Steel
2003 Born a Rebel
2005 Sagas of Iceland - The History of the Vikings, Volume 1
2007 Miklagard - The History of the Vikings, Volume II
2009 The Clans Are Marching EP
2009 Arise: From Ginnungagap to Ragnarök - The History of the Vikings Volume III

I own them all

It's always nice when a band split creates another good band and the original keeps on going as well.

I have 5?...Gravedigger albums, which is your favorite Rebellion album?
