This is hard, but Jethro Tull gets my vote.



Then Kansas, Supertramp, Rush, Yes, Eloy, the other two I don't know much about.

Tough poll Joe.All of them are wonderful. Choice between Songs From The Wood, Point Of Know Return and A Farewell To Kings.

This time it is Songs From The Wood.

Difficult choice..... i977.....when punk started to make an impression....looking at the albums..there was still.some good quality classic rock music with us ..Ive gone for RUSH .....narrowly beating YES and TULL...
Id throw that Supertramp album in the bin....lol

Even In The Quietest Moments is not that bad, Lou. Fool's Overture is a classic.

^^I knew you would say something like that about Supertramp Lou...

Over the years I am surprised but have to admit it has become my favorite Supertramp album, just ahead of Crime of the Century. I have a soft spot for most keyboard driven bands.

Just to keep the scales of justice balanced in my musical world...

^^I can't explain why Lou, but I picked up the CD about 4 years ago and after a couple of pints it became the last CD I would play for quite a long time...maybe reliving my youth or something but it just resonated with me somehow...

There's a great vote of confidence, drink a few pints get loosened up then give it a go...

I think I'll go take a nap now...

A Farewell To Kings. Going For The One is a close second. Very underrated album from Yes IMO. Ocean would be third followed by Even In The Quietest Moments..., my fav. Supertramp album as well.
