Not sure why post count should matter anyway.

For some people, it's a proverbial "e-peen". For others, it doesn't matter at all.

Bottom line, post count is helpful to board leadership in a few ways when it comes to site administering.

no argument from me, but that wasn't the question. I was simply answering the user's question + giving a reason for why some threads/subforums posts do not count towards total post count.
