I haven't gotten my Journey LPs yet; they're coming in the post. Hoping they'll come today or tomorrow; I'm pretty stoked.

I only visit to comment on people's latest acquisitions, seeing I don't collect vinyl anymore.

I did dust off a "Most Valuable Vinyl You Own" thread a few days ago though...

Understandable. At some point I'm sure I'll stop collecting it (at this point I'm also collecting singles... which I swore I'd never do, but I guess you can never say 'never' and mean it). Either when it gets out of hand D) or I'm just getting up there in age (to put it nicely).

I noticed that thread, by the way.
Nothing I really own is actually worth anything as far as I know. It's rare that I actually have an original pressing (like first-batch) of anything with the plastic still on it. I'm proud of my rare pieces, though.

The only way to find out is to look at an audiophile/vinyl collectors web site and see if your albums are listed. If they are in good condition then someone might be interested in buying them. There are some extremely rare albums or limited editions that are worth a lot of money but I never bought my vinyl with anything other than enjoying listening to them in mind.

I visited a local uber cool record store today for the first time and I almost got Electric Warrior but it was about $20.
