Here are my two horses. We rescued them from the abbatoir. They were standing in a small field next to the 'dog meat' factory waiting to be slaughtered. :uh: After handing over $200 they now belong to me. I've had them for a couple of months now. They are now in a nice sheltered field and I've just purchased rugs for them to keep them cosy in the winter.

They are in a better field now Kui. They have a proper shelter and share the same field with a friend's horse and a goat.

One of the horses at my barn is a $400 rescue. He's very grateful and well behaved. He was headed to slaughter and his 16 year old owner saved his life. She works two jobs and does work for us on exchange for board for her horse. We don't have sheds so the horses are out some time when it's an ok temperature. Then when it's hot or lighting they're in the barn.

Good on you @Sunny. It's great when people consider the lives of animals as well. Thank you for making a difference for those 2 horses. I salute you :grinthumb
