    Not the cherries, but we make ham with pineapple on it and a butter + brownsugar sauce that we constantly baste it with and cook it in. Super juicy, nice and sweet. Best way on earth to make a ham. :)

    That is pretty much the only acceptable use of warm pineapple.

    No, but if I had to eat it, I'd rather the pineapple be warm.

    Biting into hard, cold chunks of pineapple would make the texture absolutely horrendous for me.

    Isn't it more or less Sweet and Sour pork without the bread??
    I bet quite a few like that dish!!

    The REAL question is why put anchovies on a pizza... That's a real oddity..
