I saw them on the re-union tour in 1996 - or rather, I saw the first song they almost finished, Pretty Vacant I think it was. They were bottled off the stage at a festival where bands are never bottled off.... Rotten warned the crowd: ONE more bottle *swoosh!* and they were off
I like the album though but the reunion was a horrible money grubbing concept. Imo, the Pistols were ok but also a bit of a punk boy band. They were much better musicians than they'd ever let on - except Sid But the rest of the band were great and Sid was only included for the image. Too much marketing to make it 'real' punk - but they had a huge impact for sure. And I enjoy listening to the album for what it is.
