Lots Of Talk About Old Peter...should he be in the HOF or shouldn't he? Talented musician or cute pop star. I say let's all give him a bit of priase from both ends!

Have a good time posting in the new Official Peter Frampton Thread! Talk about The Humble Pie days, Frampton Comes Alive, The Pop Ballads or the Sgt. Pepper movie...what eva' you feel like!

Frampton is a fantastic musician IMO his input with Steve Marriott and co in Humble Pie is legendary as far as I'm concerned,,,

Re: The Official Peter Frampton Thread

I bought "Frampton Comes Alive" the year it was released, then I bought his next album and was very disappointed.

Then over 10 years ago a friend of mine gave me a cassette and on one side was a Peter Frampton album, and it was excellent.(1981's Breaking All The Rules.)

I have also picked up "Thank You Mr. Churchill" but haven't played it enough to give it any kind of rating yet.

So that wraps up my Frampton collection, not including his work with Humble Pie.

Re: The Official Peter Frampton Thread

Big Frampton fan here. To me, Peter Frampton was more than ''Frampton Comes Alive''. Great guitarist, song writer and singer, who put a lot of great albums over the years.

Apple Of Your Eye

A great tune from Peter's fourth studio album, simply entitled ''Frampton'' that was released in 1975...
