Paul Gray (Slipknot) reportedly dead at 38

Slipknot bassist Paul Gray has reportedly been found dead in an Iowa hotel room.

Police told AP a hotel employee found the 38-year-old dead on Monday (US time).

Foul play is not suspected.

An autopsy and toxicology testing is planned for Tuesday.

Wow. Not a Slipknot fan by any means (though I don't drink haterade on them either, I can take 'em or leave 'em) but it's never good to see a musician pass away, particularly so young.

Slipknot Bassist Found Dead

Paul Gray, bassist and one of the founding members of Slipknot. He was found in a hotel room in Iowa dead at the age of 38. It is unclear of what the cause of death was, but a toxicology report will be done today.

So many musicians seem to be found dead in hotel rooms..

I don't like Slipknot in the slightest (though I have a friend that I'm sure will be heartbroken by this news), but I'm not ever happy to hear about someone dying.
