Formed in 1976 they later became part of the NWOBHM movement but their sound had a much more Doom laden influence with the odd occult prop here and there. They only released a tape at that time "Vol 1" but it has since been released on Oracle Records. The band are still active and rolling, doing gigs and such. They got together in 2004 to re-record old gear which was then put out on CD and went down really well with the fans.

The Band ...
Terry Jones - vocals
Alan Jones - guitar
Vince Hempstead - guitar
Dean Alexander - drums
William Gallagher - bass guitar

The Music...
Volume 1 CD (1998)
Lords of Hypocrisy CD (2004)
Mythical and Magical CD (2006)
The Time Lord Remastered CD (2012)
Judgement of the Dead Remastered (2012)
Never Quite Dead CD (2013)

I think so as well 2LITTLETIME they had a slightly different sound going on and along with Witchfinder General laid down some early tracks venturing into Doom Metal territory.

For some reason I really like the sound of this band even though some folk can't get on with the vocals. Before Vol 1 was released it was very much bootlegged so there was the demand out there. Wonder why it took so long to get sorted ?

I have the same feeling about this band, Sox. I think they're brilliant, I have only Mythical and Magical CD which I had to import from Italy. Dance of the Druids and Flight of the Witch Queen are my faves. :cheers2

I know right. My list of stuff I need to get to my collection gets longer every week and there's so many albums I have missing it will take me years to fill the gaps. :heheh:

I think "Mythical And Magical" is next on my list to get but I have also seen a copy of Vol 1 that I want to get as well. It just goes on and on Nolo. :heheh:
