Great responses, everyone! It is nice to hear the reason, if there is one, for the way we vote.

While I love both songs dearly, since they were released within months of each other and were such big hits, I figured it would be interesting to see which one is liked more, and why.

I picked "I've Been Waiting For A Girl Like You", because it is more... oh, I don't know... realistic. Less poetic.
