One Band, One Song!

Simple Question. Hard Choice. (Like choosing your favourite child. I've got two..isn't hard!

THE one song you associate with a band.

I won't give examples of what I'm talking about because it may ruin it for others.

I'll start with one from left field (for me):
Aqualung - Jethro Tull.
It incompasses everything about them. The flute, the slightly weird lyrics, and Ian Anderson's voice.

Try not to repeat bands.
Doesn't mean you can't. I'm not that anally retentive!

It is a tough one.
Every start that I make doesn't seem adequate.
So I'll just to with one that's playing in my earphones now.
Blue Oyster Cult - Subhuman

It doesn't capture everything about BOC but you could do worse.
Best I can manage. It's a tough one.
I tried Skynyrd and just couldn't narrow it down.

Uriah Heep - July Morning. These guys have dozens of great songs, but JM - it's their magnum opus, I think.

Deep Purple did so many great songs, but this early 10minute tune features all the artistic qualities of this fine band.
