By the way, did they end up playing for halftime?

They played at halftime in Detroit...and although my US friends don't care Our CFL Grey Cup game is tomorrow and Nickelback is playing the halftime show in Vancouver as well. Guess they felt like getting some exposure this week.

Nickelback are great, I think they are hated because some douchebags decided its the "cool" thing to do.

Honestly, Nickelback are one of the best rock groups in 2011 with their album, the only other type of music better than Nickelback in 2011 is Foo Fighters IMO.

I think they are getting the same treatment that U2 does now...when you are so successful for so long people start taking shots at you. I am ambivalent when it comes to Nickelback, but I would rather have them play any half time show than Black Eyed Peas or Bieber...

I didn't watch it but I think they got a good crowd reaction at the half time show in Vancouver during our Grey Cup football championship.
