Hi all!, my name is Brian, I'm from Rockford IL, former home of Cheap Trick (actually, I think Rick and Bun E. still live here). I found this site by doing a search for "Classic Rock Forum" As you've guessed by my name, I'm a huge fan of Glover/Gillan era Deep Purple. Also love the Schenker era UFO, ZZ Top B.S.F.G. (before spinning furry guitars), Blue Oyster Cult, early Alice Cooper, early Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Floyd, Hendrix, Nazareth, Thin Lizzy early Ozzy...the list goes on and on

We have a BOC thread, Secret Treaties is my personal favorite, then Fire Of Unknown Origin would be next, but I love all their early albums before the band went through their...convulsion and personnel changes.

Secret Treaties, an excellent choice! Probably their best album in many ways. I'm torn between Treaties and Tyranny & Mutation.
