New Electric Boys Album

[River Dog]

Love this band.

The reunited Electric Boys are back with a brand new video for the song "Father Popcorn's Magic Oysters". The single is from the band's upcoming CD 'And Them Boys Done Swang' -- due for release on April 6th through Supernova Records.

Cool band. When I was still doing radio, I used to play the songs Groovus Maximus and Dying To Be Loved from an earlier album. Pretty sure the record was called Groovus Maximus.

Also used to play All Lips & Hips from an album before that.

Great news.

I thought we had an Electric Boys thread, but guess not. I really liked these guys in the early 90's.

Funk O Metal Carpet Ride is a great album, if you like funk metal and groove metal (which I do)

Good news to see them back together and putting out some new tunes>

I've not listened to the Electric Boys in so long - I bought the LP Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride as soon as it was released and loved it. Will be interesting to hear their new stuff, and I like Father Popcorn's Magic Oysters

They did release two other albums Groovus Maximus and Freewheelin' in case you want to check those out too.

I highly recommend Groovus Maximum, which I used to own. Superb record.

Never heard Freewheelin'.

It's much heavier - more classic rock sounding than funky.

Here is a song from the album

I'll have to give these guys a listen, i've never heard of them before.

To get you started, this is their biggest hit.

Ooooh I like it! Definitely matches my taste, the vocalist is great!
