I think what Moon did more than anything else was put the Drummers front and center as showmen, not just in the background as most of them were before he joined the Who. There was something captivating about watching him play, to me that was his main contribution...along with being a great all around drummer.

To me, Neil Peart is so technical - he's boring...

Moon you actually listen to and say wow.

Not saying Peart sucks - he doesn't thrill me, like Moon.

not many drummers voting here then eh?

Buddy Rich will always be the measure for a great drummer. Neil Peart is as close as you can be, and I'm a big Rush fan, but even Neil himself would agree that Buddy was the best.

Buddy Rich is probably the most technically skilled and greatest of em all, but I like Keith the best..
