Aww, gee thanks. :)

But with so much great rock music in the 80's, it's hard to formulate a list that isn't great. Lots of songs still in the dugout waiting to get in the game. AC/DC, Saxon, Bon Jovi, etc...

Why do I keep forgetting about Bon Jovi???? :banghead:

I know why I forget about Bon Jovi...:heheh:

I don't think you'd like my reason if you were putting him on your top 25 list :D

You managed to put some of my favorite 80's songs on this list.....though you also put one of my least favorite songs of the 80's on it...and it's not the Def Lep tune surprisingly. I absolutely HATE Great White's cover of Ian Hunters "One Bitten Twice Shy".

Also I'd like to throw extra brownie point to Quiet Riot's version "Cum On Feel The Noize" for being one of the most important songs in rock music history. FACT!

You don't like Def Leppard?

No....I really don't....I think they're alright, but not nearly as good as people tell me they are. I look at them as 80's pop's hard rock band.

Def Leppard was never the same after 1983's Pyromania, what with drummer Rick Allen's accident in '84, and guitarist Steve Clark falling deeper and deeper into the clenches of alcoholism. But their first three albums had some rocking stuff!

I'm diggin' KMET's list though I see there is some "METAL" in there as opposed to hair metal, and I see that you split it up and noted that.

Cool to see an Enuff Z'nuff tune in there...being from Illinois here, I'm always curious to see who listens to them. They're like backyard neighbors out this way and I've done plenty of partying with them.

Nice list as well bucky, though LOUDNESS I always considered a more pure metal band than a hair metal band. Even Crazy Nights...

But hey...it's all metal....whaddya' say! Let's Boogie!!
