Plagiarized this from another forum LOL But seriously, I have so many CDs I don't know where to begin when I am looking for something to play. Sometimes I do not want to listen to the whole thing just to hear one song. So I am thinking about buying only greatest hits compilations in the future. Which band compilations are good enough?

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit FoxHound.

That's impressive, mate.

I'd like to throw a few more in there:

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Peter Frampton
Foreigner
Journey
The Carpenters (as much as I love 'em, a compilation is good for the new listener.)

Hmm, you know, aside from a small handful of bands, just about any group
that started in the 60's whose name started with "THE" falls into this category.

I was thinking of doing a thread like this myself Annie, so thanks for saving me the trouble.:D

Not much to add to the list, I'll read over all the suggestions and see if I have anything to add tomorrow.;)
