    If I were you, I would create my own database. Yes, it takes a lot of time. But it would be your database with all things you need and all marks. And it will exist for really long time.

    That's what I did wind up doing. I found an Excel tool that converted all my digital file names into Excel format. So I had, right away, every artist name and album name on a spreadsheet. Over the course of a few months I added in, manually, the year of release and notes when appropriate if the album was a compilation or live recording . Also made sub-divisions for comedy albums, various artist albums, soundtrack albums etc.
    The database has been completed for awhile now and sits on my hard drive as well as on the One Drive file hosting service
