This could possibly be true, however, the site is in compliance with the current DCMA Laws. They clearly state their compliance on the site.

It's a bit different from country to country. I just couldn't access the site because it is blocked by the isp here.

I added bandcamp as well. It is a great place to discover music and also to acquire it from there via purchase or some bands offer free music legally.

Bandcamp is a really good one too if you're looking for new or unknown bands

    On Line Collector's Databases:

Curious if anyone with a large collection uses one of these services to keep of their collection.

I have thousands of albums in various formats as well as Excel but the task of composing my own list would be huge. The only info I would compile on my own would be artist name/ album name and year.

A perfect database would also include song tracks/ musicians/picture of album cover and any misc notations.Should also be exportable for printouts and updated regularly

I've seen a few sites that offer this service for $35-$50 but I'm hesitant to pay without specific recommendations.I also recall horror stories from DVD collectors who paid and put a lot of work into their services only to see the website disappear and all their data lost :os:

    Anyone using one?
