I'm going with Mike Smith(vocalist & keyboard player)with the Dave Clark 5

& Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad fame.

Terry Kath, Rick Derringer and Terry Reid are the MOST under-rated, in my book. There are others, I'm sure.

I second the motion on Terry Kath. Hendrix thought Kath was a better player than he was. That may or may not be true, but it's a good referencing point on how great a player Chicago's first (and tragically short-lived) guitarist was.

The Late Great James Dewar, Bassis/Vocalist for Robin Trower, A truely Great Rock n Roll voice IMO.

Rik Emmett of TRIUMPH. Very versitile guitar player who wrote the majority of thier hits. Great voice as well.
