^^That's a good rule of thumb.^^
I think we're on the same page here haha.

Indeed lol
Another thing, I wish they had waited until Pete Sandoval got better before they wrote the album, Pete really didn't like a lot of what he heard according to an interview of him.

I agree. Tim Yeung did a fine job as he always does. But Pete Sandoval is...well, Pete Sandoval. I don't care how you slice it it's not Morbid Angel without the commando! I'm not surprised that he didn't approve of a lot of this record.

Why didn't they just stop right before releasing Heretic. This sounds HORRIBLE, especially compared to their earlier work. Are they trying to ride some trend wave i missed? I also don't like that triggered drum sound, no soul, no life, no real energy....

wow, thanks for the warning :/

The funny thing is the band claim to do stuff that is everything against trends yet they did this shit?
Please hope Morbid Angel will not go pathetically mainstream.

There are some reviews saying this album is good, depends on what sort of sound you expect, if you expect the traditional Morbid Angel sound of hard death metal, you will sadly be disappointed. And given this was an 8 year gap between albums naturally fans should be disappointed given the return of David Vincent, no one saw the industrial influence really being as huge an impact as it was.
