A few links to lists......

Was surprised to see a few bands like Boards of Canada, Biosphere and Massive Attack in that list.

For Boards of Canada they bring up Dayvan Cowboy which I think is stretch on calling that Ambient, Wikipedia has described the Album Dayvan Cowboy's from (Campfire Headphase) as Electronic, downtempo, folktronica

Massive Attack's Unfinished Symphony, Wikipedia has that under the Trip Hop Genre, which I think's correct, with those bands in play they could of added Morcheeba to the list, though they haven't.

I'll have to check out Biosphere's 1997 Substrata which your sites are recommending.

About the only ambient I play on a regular basis these days is Eno and Tangerine Dream....and not sure TD is ambient though it probably should be regarding much of their music.

Bit of a selection of Josh Roydhouse, this last track I think maybe the track played during Mindfulness Chill, though it's being titled as "To The East", "East Woods" seems to qualify as Ambient.

Autumn - San-Zo

Sunday - Josh Roydhouse

Reborn - Subsets & Jellis

This is All - Josh Roydhouse

East Woods - Josh Roydhouse

Just for fun I googled who is the best ambient musician of all time and Eno came up..... ;)
I accidentally 'discovered' William Basinski not long ago.....had never heard of him before.
One of his more famous creations....
The Disintegration Loops
I think I may have heard this before, though a long time ago (in the 2000s), someone was probably playing it at their party that I was invited to.
Ambient Music probably is the best music to have at a party because it doesn't drown out people from talking louder, I just cringe though when people or venues select the worst kind of music and the place becomes a wall of noise!

I agree..... many restaurants often play loud 'pop radio' music for young people but those of us that are older dont care for it while we dine.
