A member of Radiohead's road crew was killed when a stage collapsed, before a show at Downsfield Park in Toronto, on Saturday 16th June. Drum technician, Scott Johnson, 33, was described as being crushed under a mountain of metal, three hours before the band were due on stage. A talented drummer in his own right, Johnson had also worked for Elbow, The Charlatans and Portishead.

Saw that on the news...wasn't weather related but a structural failure and indeed what a terrible thing to happen. Not sure if RH postponed the show or cancelled after this, sort of lost track.

Been a series of these tragedies over the last couple years, all I would do is if I were attending an outdoor event stay well back from the stage and keep an eye on the weather at all times, here our storms arrive out of nowhere and are violent and then gone a few minutes later.
