I really think Tangerine Dream should be inducted because they were one of the first electronic music and krautrock groups along with Kraftwerk. And Mahavishnu Orchestra because they had some of the best and widely acclaimed players like guitarist John McLaughlin and drummer Billy Cobham. Especially these two are often ranked among the best on their respective instruments. Also they made awesome music and were one of the first jazz-fusion groups.

Thanks for the input Cannons. I will say that I have gained appreciation for several bands that I did not know much about before I started this project, like MC5, T-Rex, Wishbone Ash, and Hawkwind. I know very little about Tangerine Dream, but they are coming up on my list to give a good listen to to see what I think. I did try Mahavishnu Orchestra and they weren't my cup of tea.

My votes:
Bob Seger
Hall & Oates
Ricky Nelson
MC5
The Spinners
Dusty Springfield
Jim Croce
The Doobie Brothers
Wilson Pickett
Gladys Knight
REO Speedwagon
Hawkwind
Wishbone Ash
Chicago
Roxy Music

I understand what you said about the mahavishnu orchestra, their music is pretty challenging and definitely not for everyone. Great that you're giving a chance to tangerine dream though.

Yes has been inducted.

KISS will be a nominee this week, so come back on Sunday to vote for their induction (and every week thereafter)
