Hi Sweaty ! yes truly great band! i can recommend them to everyone THEY ROCK!! These Australian gods were inspired by the psychedelic/ garage rock of the sixties , their record sleeves were great too!

The band have had numerous line up changes over the years...and have split and reformed several times. Lime Spiders have supported big names as The Black Crowes,MC5,The Cult,P.I.L,The Hoodoo Gurus etc
They had a cult following in the U.S. As far as I know only played the U.K once in the 80s ......an old friend spotted them as support to Dread Zeppelin [ I missed them ]

They are hard to find, I looked for years and recently found a best of on Amazon, this is a great cd to start with LG.

Some more tracks from this excellent Australian psychedelic/garage rock band . Very quiet on the LIME SPIDERS front....last thing I heard they played a couple of comeback shows in 2010 and the official website has gone
