Don't like Paul Dianno much, haven't heard Lightning to the nations or Angel Witch.

Though looking to get into Diamond Head. Saw them support Megadeth back in 2005.

IRON MAIDEN I still play it quite a lot and it's a very enjoyable listen from start to finish choc full of many good songs on it.

Of the others-

WHEELS OF STEEL is an enjoyable listen and possibly one of there best albums along with Strong Arm Of The Law, Denim And Leather & Power And The Glory.
ANGEL WITCH I use to listen to it many years ago but don't anymore.
LIGHTNING TO THE NATIONS It's a good song from memory and overall the first album is a good listen and I have got it in my collection but I never listen to any Diamond Head anymore these days.

I think Iron Maiden just pips Wheels of Steel for me. Angel Witch I haven't heard in donkey's years, although I seem to remember I liked it when I had it on vinyl many moons ago. The Diamond Head one I haven't heard, although I like the stuff by them I have got. But I don't think they surpass those first two, which were two of my first heavy metal albums, and so might conceivably also be viewed through rose-tinted specs, just possibly...

All of these are grand albums but Diamond Head takes the win for me here as they are one of my favorite NWOBHM bands and it's their debut.
