Re: Electric Dirt

I love Levon Helm....love to hear him play the drums and sing...what a treasure.

''Electric Dirt'' is a mighty fine album...it has a nice ''back porch music watchin' the sun go down'' feel to it...

I enjoy this album alot....anyone into Country mountain music and American roots music should pick this album up.

Some really good muscians play on the album.

Really love the Grateful Dead cover ''Tennessee Jed'' :grinthumb

Nice album, Garrett!

:cheers2

Re: Electric Dirt

I've seen this album but never gave it a second's thought Garrett...

I've always liked and respected Levon Helm, guess I'll have to put this one on my list.

And agreed Groovy, love the cover art as well.

Re: Electric Dirt

Until just now, I'd never heard Levon Helm's singing voice after he recovered from throat cancer. He sounds like George Jones now.
