same friend told me yesterday as we were watching "The Ambushers", he said "Soon and very soon we are going to watch 'In Like Flint'!! "So probably in the next few days we're gonna kick back and watch the James Coburn movies.

Complete camp and wholly unbelievable, but what the heck, it's free on demand.

Besides, Madeline Stowe is always beautiful, and this is Drew Barrymore's most beautiful, I think.

A very disappointing hunk of shit. A very decent looking cast, Ridley Scott in the director's chair, decent looking (yet slightly odd) trailers; yet the movie itself was mostly garbage. Slow moving, bad dialogue, unlikeable characters, and just an all-out goofy story. It was as if the script was 150 pages long and every 15 to 20 pages in the script, someone came along and ripped out 5 pages. Other than the chance to work with Ridley Scott, I don't know how a group of this many well known actors/actresses can all look at the same terrible script and say "oh yeah, I'd love to do this".

I wouldn't suggest this movie to anyone. This is a genre that I typically like and I was truly disappointed with it. Maybe my expectations were too high. *(shrug)*

4 out of 10 stars. Not the worst movie I've ever seen, but it is the worst one I have seen in quite a while, especially considering the cast + Scott at the helm. :(

I am going to reserve my judgement on this one until I see the followup. It wasn't too bad, but I really feel like these movies are concentrating on some of the wrong details when trying to translate from book to big screen. I am only guessing since I haven't read the books... but these do seem to be missing something. At 2hrs and 20 minutes (of which 10 minutes is credits), it felt like they could have easily added another 15-20 minutes to fill in some spots that felt incomplete.

    Lawrence is 'dorable as always.
