Nice thread Numb . I love this band ,in fact they are the band that made me realize that there are some really good bands in the sludge sub-genre .
I have all four of their CDs and their DVD .

I love all the Greek Mythology stories that they rewrite as the lyrical content too ..

I just had a freaky thought, this band's drummer, Chris Wozniak really looks like a guy I went to High School with. I got curious, and dug out my year books, and I swear it looks like him, and yes Chris Wozniak is a couple years younger than me. The bio lists him as a Chicago native.......but it makes me wonder how many people are in this world named Chris Wozniak, who look alike.

or some other relative ?


BTW, I see Lair of the Minotaur, as a sludgy thrashy Doom band then the description above .

Yea they are very sludgey and thrashy and doomy haha. They do have some death and black metal influence. Venom and Hellhammer.

Back in the days that they were just starting out we just called both those bands thrash .It was just a raw really ruff form of thrash as far as we were concerned.
It has only been lately that they have been tagged with the titles Black Metal and Death Metal.


Just saying ..... it's only a name

I forgot to mention that I also have both EP's and a limited download Live recording that
they gave out on their site . I open War Metal Battle Master and out fell a card with a download
code .Only 1000 cards were given out I happened to be one of the lucky few .
