Re: Kyuss

Blues For a Red Sun is a fantastic album. The release of this album introduced me to the stoner/sludge genre some 20 years ago. First time I listened to it, 'Holy smokes, this a Black Sabbath/Blue Cheer fusion'. A band that should of recieved more acclaim IMO.

Re: Kyuss

They recieved good critical acclaim, but their popularity was not what it should have been, but IMO it also adds to the bands status of a lgendary band.

I love how they had no where to play in their hometown so they had generator partys in the middle of no where and play.

Re: Kyuss

I need to get more KYUSS .I only have Blues For The Red Sun .I love the song Green Machine

Welcome to Sky Valley is amazing as well.

They are coming out with a new record under Kyuss Lives!. Sucks Homme will not be apart of it. Has to be a money thing IMO.

I found videos of them online performing in Palm Desert at a generator party. I would love to have been there.
