I've said for years that I think it's one of the best debut albums of all time (regardless of genre). Of their entire catalog of 20 studio albums, it's in the Top 5 for me.
Definitely one of the best debut albums. I always wonder if when they recorded "Love Theme from Kiss" for the album if they actually recorded the whole "Acrobat/Much Too Young" tune in that session seeing as they played it live back then... I would love to hear that whole studio version if they did... If there is someone out there who has no idea what I'm talking about...Love Theme from Kiss from their debut was actually titled Acrobat and when they played live it would go into another tune called You're Much Too Young(whose intro influenced Detroit Rock City)… A live version is on their box set & on one of the Kissology DVD's...

Yeah I'm not a massive KISS fan but I like most of there recorded stuff except maybe there interpretation of the Russ Ballard song God Gave You Rock & Roll which I prefer the Argent version better but that's just me but getting back to there debut album it still gets a regular listening to by my rock & roll ears!!.

Had this poster (along with many others) on my wall back in high school. Somewhere, stored away in protective tubes, I still have quite a few of my old rock posters. I should pull them out sometime and take a look at them.

From their 1976 summer tour:
