When Vox Humana was released in 1985, many of Kenny's fans felt it was a more techno approach and shunned this album, which I still don't understand since it was basically the same sound he had been delivering with all his soundtrack success. In any case, it's a very solid record and one of my favorites as a whole from him.

^^absolutely love this album. Jim Messina is an awesome songwriter and to be totally honest, I never much cared for Kenny Loggins without him
I was given this album when I was 14, and I had such a crush on Jim Messina....

Probably my fave studio album as well, and this is the best version ever released.

^^You know Feldy that is one of my least favorite Loggin's solo songs...probably because it was overplayed for years on FM here.

I much prefer the title song from Caddyshack, 2nd to Highway to the Dangerzone as far as his solo songs go.

I'm Alright.

Love that song and that movie

I think Footloose earns a special spot in my heart because I had a choreographed lead vocal scene in a school musical to that song and it was probably the most fun I've had ever. So it's got good memories attached.

Haha yeah, that's it.

Unfortunately I followed it up by playing a grumpy overweight rock 'n roll hating father in the next musical. Killed my career
