Karnivool is an Australian Progressive rock/Progressive metal band that formed in 1997 and released their debut in 2005. Karnivool has won a slew of awards so far. The vocalist, Ian Kenney, is fantastic. The Debut album is some of the most awesome musicianship I have heard from a new Prog band in a long time.

I've heard the name Karnivool heaps but never really any of their songs. Although I did hear a good one from them on Rage last week...



...my knowledge of them is scarce other than that song.

This album encompasses lush guitars, off-beat drumming, and very odd time signatures. This band has a strong Tool influence.
