Kansas (OFFICIAL THREAD)

Started getting into this band recently, and I am very much awed and inspired by the beauty of this band! I hear echoes of Creedence, The Doors and Yes in their music, as well as an almost Boston like approach to epic melodies!

I can see Kansas becoming my favourite band of the seventies. Song Over America, Leftoverture and Point Of Know Return are currently blowing my mind!

And try as I might, I cannot find a thread about this band anywhere!

So, being new to this forum, I would love to hear what all you guys think of this marvellous band!

That said, Kansas was one of my all time favorite bands growing up in the 70's.

I think Masque is a somewhat overlook album and probably my 3rd fave behind Leftoverture & POKR. They're all great though, even the ones without Steve.
