I don't have any RHCP in the house, so it has no impact on me. If he descends into heroin addiction again that would be sad though. If I remember Navarro was not well liked by the hard core Chili Peppers fan base.

Yeah, One Hot Minute wasn't a fan favorite but I was actually a fan of that one!

That's too bad, I liked the sound they had with him over the last 10 years or so.

I know he played with them early on, but I really didnt become aware of his playing until Californication came out. I loved Scar Tissue. That is one of those songs has a lot of personal memorires for me, kind of like a bookmark of where I was in life when that song came out. I can't hear it now without remembering very specific people and places.
