I crank up the stereo and listen to some of the music from that year while I did this. Actually I enjoyed it. I came up with 136 albums from 1970. The first 25 are the hardest to place in order. I must admit it's been a while since I've listened to some of these albums.

I can't do it Joe, I could draw up a list and then I would never stop editing it or changing the order...I'll just sit back and let you do the leg work and enjoy the results...:grinthumb

1970 was a super busy year for music. Props to you joe for making a list such as this, it is very difficult to even begin ranking albums from this era. I once did a music timeline beginning with 1969 *woodstock* and the work was almost overwhelming. I think I made it to 1985 in the timeline then quit........

Very impressive list Joe and I thought I had a pretty good knowledge of obscure bands, though you certainly could run circles around me .

Thanx for the comments everybody.:grinthumb

My plan is to make it to 2010. A long way away yet. I do enjoy doing it and it's something I've always wanted to do. I plan on doing 1971 today and posting tomorrow.
