Joan Crawford always made me laugh, because it seemed to be inspired by her daughter's biography, 'Mommy, Dearest'. The book caused quite a furore, when it appeared, as Crawford's life seemed to mirror her melodramatic films. BOC's Godzilla also seemed to send up its cinematic subject matter.

JC is also something that our friend Jesus is often refereed to as. While J.C. ( Joan Crawford in this case ) is seen to be rising from the dead, in the BOC song, an Armageddon like scene is also unfolding, in the story line.
