Blackmore and Gillan on the same stage...

...not even in different bands. It's a shame, but I doubt Gillan would do it justice now.

I would like to see the reformation of the Gillan lineup of Gillan, McCoy, Torme, Towns and Underhill, although it could be tricky as they were disbanded for the successful DP MKII reunion. Colin Towns went into film music, but always seemed a lost talent. Mr Universe was an underrated album, probably because of the murky producton.

There is no way Blackmore would ever do this reunion. He refuses to even talk about his time in Deep Purple these days so fat chance he would actually play with them again.


BTW, I saw the current line up a couple years ago and Ian Gillian sound great. Much better then I had anticipated.
