How do you buy your concert tickets?

What's your strategy to get the best concert tickets?

Do you like to buy online? At a store?
What site do you use?

I want to know how to get prime tickets, I always get shafted!

I send out the "Other" ...

Or I go to ticketmaster, but if the the venue is close at hand, I might go directly there ...

This is a gamble but you can go to the venue and wait for the concert to start and might get a "deal" from a scalper who should be willing to deal.

I've checked out a few "on-line" sites (I don't remember which ones) and they seemed to be ripping people off.

Live Nation now sells tickets. It's a great system.

Usually I just get them through ticketmaster.

A long time ago though, in the pre-internet era, my (now ex) wife called to get Stones tickets for an out of town show...and luckily she called right when the tickets went on sale. We got 2nd row tickets!

I have a cousin who works at my favourite Sydney music venue so she secures tickets for any concert I want to see ................. otherwise through ticketek.

Quite simply, wherever the hell they're available from. Whether it be Bass, Ticketmaster, Venuetix I don't care as long as I can go to the show!

I always go with friends or family and I just give my money to somebody else who is going and let them deal with it.

I buy the tickets on-line or from some local distributors if they exist. I never buy tickets directly from the location just before the concert.

I give Sweaty a rake of cash and as if by magic tickets appear further on down the road.
