Hi everyone!
Recently found this forum and thought I'd give it a go.
I'm nearing 50, and and thought it would be nice to discuss the great music with other like minds across the world.
Big fan of (in NO particular order...except for the first) :
Black Sabbath
KISS
Iron Maiden
Deep Purple
Thin Lizzy
UFO.. etc etc.
Love finding old live footage on YouTube as well.
(Recently found a clip of Jethro Tull with Tony Iommi on guitar!)
I'm a proponent of NOT classifying Classic Rock as music that comes from the halcyon days of the 60s and 70s. Great music coming out today should also come under the same banner.
I've been reading Classic Rock (any connections to this web site?) for years, and it always features up and coming bands.
That's enough of me.
